THE TEAM

Owner Julia has over 30 years of experience caring for her client's clothing, and The Wardrobe Curator was created out of the need to find perfect solutions for her clients' wardrobes.
Her background is in tailoring and she studied fashion design at Art College. Since then she has worked with clients from around the world, tailoring, altering and caring for their clothes. Through her business she visits clients in their homes, fits their clothes and takes them back to her workroom and alter, remodel and repair them. The business grew and clients asked for advice on how to hang, fold and store their clothes and accessories. |

What Kashka doesn’t know about who and what goes on in the designer alterations world is not worth knowing. Having worked within the business for 10 years and coming from a family of dressmakers, she knows it inside out.
She manages the day to day running of The Wardrobe Curator and will remember a client and their garment for years (as well as the name of their pet and favoured holiday destination). She will always answer our phone with a smile and make sure you get the service you’re looking for. For Kashka there’s no second best. |

Saga is a very experienced fitter for both men and women, VIP for red carpet events as well as VIP fittings for brands such as Prada, Burberry and Gucci among others. She believes that many times the fashion is in the fit of a garment.
Her background is in pattern construction and fashion design in her native Sweden and then costume design at Central Saint Martins. After a carrier as a costume designer for film, TV and adverts, she now uses her skills as a personal stylist and a fitter. |

Our amazing tailors Maria, Cornelia and Mihaela all share a passion for tailoring and dress making.
Maria is an impressive self-taught made to measure and alterations tailor with years of experience both in Romania and England, she’s also a great fitter and often visits our clients. Cornelia has worked with tailoring and designer alterations for over 20 years. She started as a tailoring apprentice at 18 and then went on to study tailoring and pattern construction. She has since worked as a made to measure tailor creating anything from evening wear to day suits. Mihaela studied fashion design and made to measure in Moldova for 4 years and proceeded to become a work room manager and quality controller for brands such as Dolce Gabbana and Moncler. They all agree that alterations need both creativity and skill in equal measure. |
